A EFICÁCIA DO BRINCAR NO TRATAMENTO TERAPÊUTICO DO TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA

Abstract

The autism is a health condition characterized by a disorder in neurodevelopment that affects the behavior and social communication. These people have an atypical behavior demonstrated by its behavioral manifestations. The spectrum doesn’t have a known cause, but there are a lot of evidences that leads to a predisposition. It’s important to highlight that the damages which restrict people with ASD take from them big learning opportunities in importantes areas of life. What is the importance of playing as a therapeutic instrument of autism spectrum disorder? This work is going to identify a big evolution of a person with ASD when the treatment practice is combine with playing, bringing a important relevance in development of new learning, giving opportunities to the adequacy of behaviors and so many others difficulties given the disorder. Through a simple play the child can desenvolve a several of behavioral skills, as receptive communication, expressive communication, cognition, social skills, fine motor skills and gross motor skills when playing hopscotch or kicking a ball. The methodology used is based in a basic bibliographic research, qualitative in nature,  since it is not intended to solve the problem immediately. Therefore, playing is an important therapeutic instrument in autism spectrum disorder, because of its spontaneity and its several and different social enhancers and its accessible and uncomplicated way of showing opportunities and guarantee learning outcomes.
