The emotional impact of the death from patients in doctors that participate in the ready service

Abstract

The death is a natural phenomenon that exist together with life, but turn into a difficult work accepting it during the academicals formation medical professional learn technics and skills to preserve patient life, when this intent isn’t achieved the workers many times can’t deal properly with this situation. The fact of exist a part of the society charging medical care and procedures can do with the professionals internalize this commitment having difficult to accept the patient’s death. Moreover, there is also the professional charging where they can face off the patient´s death not like a natural process of life, but like a professional failure. In front of this consideration the work objective is identify how feeling are manifested by doctors in front of hospitalized patients and how can he or she deals with patients’ death. To get more conclusive results was realized a field research with qualitative intent where five medical professionals participated that work at Airton Rocha ready service from General Hospital of Roraima. In the end was compared the literal study with interview. With this can be said witch the results obtained through the questionnaire was in according with literature, coming to a conclusion that each professional deals with death by different manners, soon this question will have distinct impact in agreement with each human been, considering the professional living the reaction can be the same.
