ATUAÇÃO DO PSICÓLOGO NA EQUIPE MULTIDISCIPLINAR DE CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS COM PACIENTES ONCOLÓGICOS

Abstract

The palliative care are defined as an approach that wishes care with patients and relatives that are passing through the process of illness which exit the possibility of death, searching for relieve the pain and the suffering, and others disorders from physics, psychosocial and spiritual nature even, triggered inside of the process to come down with. So, that care it happens it is necessary the presence of a multidisciplinary team to medical care including their family. In this regard, this research it has as goal to analyze what are the possibilities of psychological action in part of the multidisciplinary staff in care with oncologic patients inside of the palliative care process. For this purpose, it was used the basic bibliographic research of descriptive nature as methodology to characterize itself. Therefore, it shows to us in their results the role of the psychologist it is fundamental to mediate the interpersonal relationship process from patients with their relatives, as well as essential to the patient establishing confidence and learn how to live with their pathology together.
